The picture is a little blurry, but read what the top says... "Vegetable List." Then, read the list carefully. Only in the South will you find something like that listed on the vegetable list. The restaurant is Mama Dips in Chapel Hill, and features some of the tastiest down home southern cookin' I've had yet.

Ok, so I live in a suburb of Raleigh called Fuquay Varina. Strange name, yeah, yeah... we've heard it a million times. After two years of living here, and an additional two years before that my community existed, my address can finally be mapped on Google maps, Mapquest and Yahoo Maps. It took long enough. The information is still incomplete, as their is a second street off of mine that isn't mapped, but at least you could get someone to the neighborhood. Now, I can get people to my door. This past weekend SpyC and I carved it up at a pumpkin carving party. The first pumpkin is Spyc's, depicting two cats. The other pumpkin is my creation (or re-creation) with a ghost and the word Boo. As I've said before, no gain no pain, and that's a good thing. While I didn't post a loss this week, I weigh exactly what I weighed last week. Lately, that's a good thing as I seem to go up and down a couple pounds every week. Staying steady is good. Back on track and sliding lower! Another weigh-in, another pound. This time almost four. Of course, WW yelled at me for losing more than two, but come on, I had gained almost three the two previous weeks. Back off, alright!? I'm correcting my wrongs. It seems the gas is flowing again, although outages are still noticeable around town. It's a good thing I run on regular -- SpyC and I filled up at Costco yesterday where there was no premium to be had. Surprisingly prices had plummeted to $3.39 a gallon there. Most of the Triangle is hovering between $3.59 and $3.69. Two weeks ago when I was in Nevada prices were $3.39. I wonder what they are
