Florida and Michigan MUST count

I can't believe my own party stripped its members of their right to have their vote count. If you're familiar with this story you'll know Florida and Michigan moved their primaries up resulting in the DNC stripping those states of their delegates. Since the Democratic and Republican nominees for President are chosen by delegate votes, which are determined by how the respective candidates did in their state during the primaries, the citizens in those states were stripped of their vote, and therefore, their voice. I am mad as hell at the DNC for this seemingly Republican attitude. I wrote the following email to the Democratic National Committee today:

"I stand 100% behind both the Governor of Florida and the Governor of Michigan in calling on the DNC to count the votes from those states' primaries. Our system relies on public opinion and our Constitution guarantees us the right to vote to share these opinions. Stripping the citizens of Florida and Michigan of their right to vote is simply un-Constitutional, especially when their right was taken away by some arbitrary rule making by the DNC. The DNC has no right what-so-ever to eliminate the voice of the people, and doing so will only divide our party. As a long standing Democrat, I can't imagine continuing to support this party if it continues to deny the rights of its party's members. This simply is unimaginable and unconscionable."

Furthermore, I, and I am sure many other Democrats, will call for the immediate removal of Howard Dean as our party leader if this issue is not resolved satisfactorily. I can't believe they created this scandal that will only serve to divide our party and ultimately risk our winning the White House in November. I urge you to write to the DNC and demand they count the votes from Florida and Michigan.
