One year ago

SpyC and I packed our bags, our kitties and our lives one year ago today and boarded a plane to North Carolina. A lot has happened in the past year and mostly for the better. We are absolutely happy with our decision to move here and like it quite a lot. We were looking for a cheaper cost of living, plentiful higher education opportunities, plenty of outdoor activities and four seasons. We've found all and then some: new friends, a beautiful home on an acre of land and new opportunities. All of which add up to make a successful move.

We've enjoyed our first year here so much, we've considered this may be a place we end up living in for sometime. Time will tell.
