Back to school
I mentioned deep in my previous post I hope to be headed back to school this fall. After leaving UNR and my then declared major of Public Relations, I am returning to the PR field. I have applied for admission to East Carolina University (ECU) and their program for adult learners called Options. The program targets people like me who have taken classes before but never finished a degree. I literally have 128 credits, which would have gotten me a bachelor's somewhere had I taken all the classes at one school. Alas I didn't, and I hope this new program will see me through to completion.
Classes begin in late August, and since I'll have been here a year by then, I should qualify for in-state tution, which is some $400 per credit less than out-of-state. Significant enough to wait. I have sent off my application with all transcripts and residency documentation and hope to hear from the school soon. I'll keep you posted.
