Both of my solos were canceled due to the winds. No surprise there. I have rescheduled my solo to Mesquite for December 2 and my solo to Laughlin/Kingman for December 3. Hopefully mom nature holds out for me. I really need the time. I am required to have 30 hours by December 13 in order to get an A, and I only have 24. I know it seems like six hours isn't that much, but it has taken me three months to get those 24, so six is quite a lot. I can still get a B at worst, but still. I'd rather an A.
Speaking of school, things are starting to wind down. I still have several things to work on, but the load is starting to lighten. Thank goodness, because I really need to start preparing for my FAA written exam. I am taking that on December 12. Ugh... the pressure.
I am off again tomorrow to Boston. I fly to the Dominican Republic again on Thursday, for the ten-thousandth time the past three months. It's ok though, I like it there. I am starting to miss London though. I will be spending Thanksgiving at my favorite resteraunt in Boca Chica called Neptunos. They have delicious food and an awesome tropical environment! Although I wish I were home with family, my friend Edie will be with me. I have decided to console myself with a pedicure while there! It shouldn't be too rough!
