My allergies are beginning to ease up a little, but I am not sure if that is because I took some over the counter medication last night or not...who knows. I hope the recovery continues!

I have spent this whole week chasing after people and paperwork related to my injury-on-duty earlier this month. I missed five days of work, one of which were due to the company's molasses-like response to clear me back to duty through my doctor. My doctor cleared me to return to work on 8/14, but the company didn't get it processed until 8/15. The big problem, however, is the company charged me two sick days of the five, and paid me out of my sick bank. To the best of my knowledge, this is against state worker compensation laws in Massachusettes, but the insurance company and my union are looking into this. It's just been a big hassle all week, and it's not even something I should have to deal with. American treats us so well!
