Still off to work...

My latest trip to New York was a relief over past since I was working in the first class galley, and not Purser. There are times I get burned out on the Purser thing because I bare the responsibility of everything that happens in the cabin. Even though we were almost full in first class coming back from New York, it was still a nice change. Now, I am playing the reserve game again. But, good news is I only sit reserve this month 6 days due to all the training I have in Dallas for international flying. And, next month, I will be on reserve again, but I have two weeks of vacation at the end of June, so I will still get out of most of it! Yeah!

Mom is coming to Vegas on Sunday! I am so excited about that. There have been a few changes in our house since she was last there, just decorating things, and I am excited for her to see those changes. The biggest being the downstairs bathroom. Beth and I are really happy with the way that turned out. Someday I will put a picture on the house webpage. I know I haven't updated that thing in a million years. Someday...

Dan's grandpa is still in the hospital. He has good days and bad days, and Dan isn't real sure when his grandpa will make it home again. Dan, on the other hand, will be returning home on Saturday. He has been in Vegas for two weeks straight. I hope to get to see Dan for a moment tomorrow, as I will be home sometime in the afternoon (I hope) and Dan will be taking the red-eye on America West tomorrow night. We'll see...
