Finally home after a long week in the air...

My body was quite happy when I stepped out of the airport today in Las Vegas as the 90+ degree heat permeated the air and carressed my skin. I realized, at that moment, I had become a true Las Vegan. I had realized that the hot summer sun was as therapeutic as taking a hot shower on a cold winter night. Ahh, the joys of being home again.

I returned from New York last night to the Bay Area from what was my last official trip as an SFO based flight attendant, and also my last domestic run. Although I am looking forward to the challenges something new presents, I will miss the good people I have come to know well the past three years while at SFO. I am sure our paths will cross again in the future, but it's always sad to leave familiar faces and places behind. ;-(

On a much more sad and somber note, Dan's grandpa passed away this past week. Dan has returned to Las Vegas with his family to mourn their loss, and also to pay tribute and to remember what a funny and courageous man Dan's grandpa was. Please keep Dan and his family in your thoughts.
