As Jenn said, "Going to the chapel...."

I am here in Gardnerville after a very long day. Local time is 12:37am Friday morning! Ick. I arrived yesterday about 1:30pm and had to come back to Reno with my dad late last night to pick up my aunt Dynie who flew in from Burbank. She arrived about 10:30. Things seem to be coming together quite well for the wedding. I went and tried my tux on to make sure it fits. Everything is great! And, I must say, I look damn good! Maybe you'll see a picture here someday.

I haven't talked to my brother today, so I don't really know how he is feeling. I know he is getting excited, but I don't know if butterflies or nervousness is setting in yet or not. I will be staying with him tomorrow night, so I will surely know then. I am driving up to Lake Tahoe later this morning (after I've slept!) with my dad. We're going up to help out with set-up and decorations. The rehearsal and dinner are later on at 5pm.

Unfortunately, there are thunderstorms and rain showers forecasted for the entire area Friday and Saturday, so who knows how this will effect everything. The good news is, the reception is being held in a tent, so, if need be, the ceremony can be moved there, too. That was the same back up for my wedding. Brian and Rene will be heading out on their honeymoon Tuesday to the sunny Caribbean, visiting the islands of St. Lucia and Martinique. I am sure they will have a wonderful time, what they remember of it!
