So the great debate over Starbuck's continues on my message board. For anyone who is interested, I have added two more cents to the debate today. Nothing much is going on around here. Bethany and I are going to take a trip to the house either tonight or tomorrow, to assess the latest progress. We are getting so excited we can hardly stand it. We have waived our second walk through, which is traditionally when we would actually close on the house and receive the keys. We are trying to close by November 30, for two reasons. 1) We have a 30-day lock on our interest rate, which expires November 30 and 2) if we close in December, we will have to pay $800 in interest charges with our closing costs since our first payment would not be until February 2002. So, we are scheduled for our first walk through on November 29, and we hope to close that day, or the 30th at the latest. Keep your fingers crossed for us! We'll keep you posted.
